Welcome to DCW Media’s May 15th edition of Digital Connect, our bi-weekly coverage of platform updates and vertical trends. We’re looking at Pinterest’s growth, Meta influencers, Netflix’s new home screen, and serving ads directly to the Lyft app.
Visual-based social platform Pinterest had a very strong Q1 of 2025, adding 17 million new users worldwide with a 4% increase in North America. Pinterest consistently delivers strong CTRs and a quality audience. DCW has run a healthcare client on Pinterest for 3 years straight with steadily improving results. The platform is great for verticals such as food & beverage, travel, retail, and home improvement. We've mastered their keyword targeting and are ready to help with any new clients who may be interested.

Meta took a big step in making it easier for advertisers to find and work with relevant influencers on Facebook and Instagram. The Partnership Ads Hub highlights brand mentions and influencers with high performance content. This move follows in the footsteps of TikTok, but Meta offers generally lower CPMs and higher CTRs. DCW is well positioned to incorporate these changes into Meta campaigns, working with clients to find the right talent to fit seamlessly into new or existing social campaigns.
Netflix will soon be revamping its home screen experience. The steaming giant revealed changes that it hopes will make using its services easier and simpler. While nothing is planned yet for new advertising opportunities, one can see how the new layout would lend itself to home screen advertising. DCW continues to monitor all Netflix developments and is ready to execute efficient streaming campaigns, regardless of provider.

DCW can now tap directly into Lyft's app ad inventory through our StackAdapt DSP. Lyft is used by over 40 million riders. The app ads use a unique trip-intent targeting to reach users based on their location and destinations. Lyft ads are especially applicable for casinos, retail locations, food and beverages, and anything travel related. For more on DCW’s transit and travel ads, see our very recent blog post.
